Hot Chocolate Sauce for Ice Cream Draft

A hot bittersweet chocolate sauce with butter and cream that I make in one pot and pour straight over ice cream.

How I make it

  1. Warm the chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, stirring.

  2. Add the butter, cream and vanilla and keep stirring.

  3. Once the mixture is liquid, add the powdered sugar.

  4. When there are no lumps and the sauce is bubbling, take it off the heat.

  5. Let it cool slightly and serve over ice cream.
