Name: Pecan Cookies
Ingredients: 1 cup pecans; 8 tbsp self-rising flour; 8 tbsp sugar; 7 tbsp butter; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 3–4 tbsp cold water

Small pecan butter cookies that I roll into balls with wet hands and bake until browned.

How I make it

Preheat the oven to 340-375°F (170-190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the pecans, flour, sugar, butter, vanilla and water into a uniform dough.
With wet hands, shape teaspoon-size balls and set them on the sheet with space between them.
Bake until browned.
Lift off with a spatula and cool on a rack.
