Chocolate Balls That Taste Like Childhood Draft
No-bake chocolate balls made from crushed biscuits and a homemade chocolate sauce, rolled in coconut and kept in the fridge.

How I make it
Chocolate sauce
Stir the cocoa and sugar into the cup of milk and microwave for 1 minute.
Put the chocolate and the 3 tablespoons of milk in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the chocolate melts.
Add the cup of milk and cook over low heat until the sauce is thick.
Remove from the heat, add the butter and stir until melted in.
Balls
Pulse the biscuits in a food processor into small pieces, not powder. Add the pecans, if using.
Transfer to a bowl, pour the chocolate sauce over and mix.
Let the mixture cool.
Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
What I've learned
- When I don't feel like rolling balls, I shape the mixture into a log with plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge. To serve, I slice it into rounds.
