Homemade Chocolate Spread Draft

A homemade chocolate spread made from sugar syrup, cocoa and margarine, which I pour into a jar and keep in the fridge.

How I make it

  1. Boil the sugar and water for 3 minutes, until syrupy, and remove from the heat.

  2. Add all the remaining ingredients except the yolks and stir.

  3. When the mixture has cooled a little, add the yolks and stir.

  4. Pour into a jar while still warm and store in the fridge.
