Golden Strawberry Pie Draft

A no-bake pie on a Petit Beurre crust with whipped cream and dulce de leche, strawberries and crumbled halva wafers, easy to put together from pantry staples.

How I make it

Crust

  1. Melt the butter in the microwave.

  2. Mix with the biscuit crumbs.

  3. Press firmly into a 9-inch (22 cm) pan.

Filling

  1. Whip the cream to stiff peaks.

  2. Mix half the whipped cream with the dulce de leche and spread over the crust.

  3. Wash and hull the strawberries. Set one aside for garnish and halve the rest lengthwise.

  4. Arrange the strawberries over the cream.

Before serving

  1. Pile the rest of the whipped cream in the center of the pie, leaving a red border of strawberries.

  2. Sprinkle the brown sugar over everything.

  3. Cut the wafers into small pieces, scatter over the cream and set the reserved strawberry in the middle.
