How I make it

  1. Line a small glass baking dish with parchment paper and coat the paper with canola oil spray.

  2. Put the white chocolate in a bowl with half the butter and half the condensed milk.

  3. Put the bittersweet chocolate in a separate bowl with the remaining butter and condensed milk.

  4. Microwave each bowl separately for about a minute, until melted, and stir well.

  5. Spread most of the white chocolate mixture in the dish, keeping a few spoonfuls for the top.

  6. Pour the dark chocolate mixture over it and gently spread to cover the white layer.

  7. Dot the remaining white mixture over the top by the spoonful and swirl with a toothpick into a spotted pattern.

  8. Freeze for 4 hours, until firm.

  9. Lift out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares.

What I've learned

  • I keep the squares in the freezer and serve them very cold.
  • Be sure to hold back a few spoonfuls of the white mixture; that's what makes the spots.
